To bookmark our serverso you can easily find it, unzip the PRObookmark file to your player folder ( my path is as such: C:/Program Files/rFactor/UserData/PRO_Lash )

To use the bookmark you have just installed do as follows:

Start the game, go to the bottom icon >< "connect" and choose join, at the top of the servers window, click on the Friends tab, you will see ~~~PRO~SBSsprints, click once on that to highlight it, then click Load Game.

CAUTION!! If you already have bookmarked servers, this will overwrite them, so you would be better off to just join our server and bookmark it in the usual fasion, this is just for new ppl to get to our server easily.

How to run various Sprintcar tracks and their oddities or quirks

Miller Lite Speedway:
Very important!
At racetime, the pole sitter must back his car OFF the start/finish line right away and keep it off the line until the pace car comes out,
or for some reason, the front inside car SINKS into the finishline.....
so, back your car OFF the line, and keep it off, when the pace car comes out get a bit of a run to make it across the line...after this, the track runs fine.

Skins in game INFORMATION:

Here is what we know so far...
The game produces errors when you create a new skin and car folder and add it to the game...when it isnt installed on our ( or your ) server, the game doesnt recognise the vehicle, and boots you off the server...if it is installed on the server, but other people dont have your skin, they keep getting error messages about your skin..there IS a workaround tho....

You can paint a skin, and save as a .dds file or have someone do it for you, then create a folder named skins and place your .dds file in it.....add that folder to an EXISTING car folder, then go in game, go to that particular driver, then click on the skins tab, and select your car.....anyone that has your skin will see your car, anyone who doesnt will see the drivers car where you put your skins folder into...that driver then would become something similar to the default car skin, if your team or league places all of their skins in that cars skins folder, if they have your skins, they will see your cars, if not, the default car will show,
Here is what we have done at PRO for V2 SBS Sprints:
We decided we would use the Expansion/skins folder provided in version 2 of the sprints ( the contents of this folder show up in the Premium Racing Online team folder in game/#na expansion car as the "default" car, in the Expansion car folder we created a folder called skins, and any skins we paint for others or skins that are submitted to us will be made into an exe file and extract into Expansion skins folder....when someones skin is put up for download, they will find their car in the Expansion skins tab in the game...our server is setup this way as well, and there have been no errors so far in testing this, so if you have a skin to submit, we are willing to carry them and make them available for download.

I hope These instructions are clear enough for everyone to understand, I will probably massage over this info in the next few days to make it more clear as to what to do or how this works if necessary

UPDATE: If you add skins in the above mentioned way, you do NOT have to install then on your server, just distribute your paints among your friends and race :)

CAUTION: We are not sure leaguewise just what race results may show if everyone is running out of one drivers skin folder...perhaps it would show names correctly, but everyone operating out of that folder would be #19 for example....The same thing may go for our ticker at the top of this site, we will further test this.

Bad day at the race track yesterday. Car was fast on the 1/3 mile low banked track. Up until lap 25 or so. #33 broke a transmission 1/2 way down the straight, no time to react and hit him from behind - tore the RF suspension off. Then got clobbered by the car behind and lost the back end up to the fuel cell. We got it back together in about 20 minutes (damn we're good ), lost about 40 laps but still finished in the top 15. Only lost 4 tenths after the repairs. Next race is back on our home track, high banked 3/8 mile modelled after Bristol where we won a Championship and countless races.

PROKennyVette: Here's our home track [URL] Check out the Pictures link. Haven't raced there in 2 years because it's been closed. Now, new owership, it's been completely rebuilt and is going to be one of the premier tracks in Eastern Canada. They hired the same lighting company that did a number of the Eastern Cup tracks, like Rockingham and Bristol. It's gonna be SWEET.

And to sort of cap the season and the last races of it:

PROKennyVette: This weekend we're racing our last race of this year, on our home track. Twin 50 lap features over 2 days. First race was last night. 1st they screwed us by making us remove our race shocks and put on spec shocks - which are J-U-N-K.. So we battled wheel hop all day. Qualified 12th out of 31 cars which we were disappointed with. In the race we worked up to 7th and got spun 20 laps in. Damn rookies! Had to go to the back of the rather large field. Came back and finished 5th. If we take our headers off and run stock cast iron manifolds they will let us run our race shocks, so today that's the plan for the second 50 lapper. We're giving up too much on the turn entry without our good shocks so we're gonna trade off 40hp for better handling. Grrr....

PROKennyVette: Last night was the second of the Twin-50 lap races we entered this weekend. If you seen my other note we pulled the headers off the car and switched back to our racing shocks. The car was a bit faster overall but it was falling off at the end of the straights. Anyway, they inverted the qualifying order so we started 22nd our of 31. No worries... we only got 31 laps in before rain ended the night but in those 31 laps Graham passed 15 cars and got to 7th. He wasn't finished... but the damn weather came. Just before the start of the feature race I stuck a spring rubber in the RR spring to help him run the outside. It worked perfect! Anyway, overall for the weekend (they scored both races together) we scored 4th out of 31, so we're Ok with that but a win would have been nice to end the year!
